At Bethesda’s E3 2017 press conference, they announced three major games, all of which will be released later this year.
First up, on September 15, Arkane Studios will release the latest game in the Dishonored series. This “standalone adventure” is called Dishonored: Death of the Outsider and stars Billie Lurk as she teams up with the assassin Daud in an attempt to kill the god-like being known as the Outsider. Dishonored: Death of the Outsider will feature the gameplay and storytelling the series has become known for.
Less than a month later, horror fans will get a treat on October 13 with the sequel to Tango Gameworks and Shinji Mikami’s The Evil Within. In The Evil Within 2, Sebastian will partner with the organization called Mobius and enter a twisted world in order to save his daughter. It promises limited ammo, surreal locations filled with disturbing enemies, and a quest for redemption.
And after an unusual start to the trailer, Bethesda revealed that the next Wolfenstein game from MachineGames will be out on October 27. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus follows the highly-praised Wolfenstein: The New Order and follows B.J. Blazkowicz on a mission into Nazi-controlled America to start a new revolution. It includes both new and returning characters, new high-tech weapons, and action-packed first-person shooting.
Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, The Evil Within 2, and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus are three major announcements for this year’s E3, especially since they will all be out this year. These three games are all planned to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
