Prettiest Looking Game – Guardians of the Galaxy

Diego: Guardians of the Galaxy is one of those rare games that makes you stop playing to just take in the sights. Not since Ghost of Tsushima has my finger been so quick on the photo-mode button, snapping away at dozens of screenshots. The art team isn’t getting paid enough because each new planet you visit in this game is so starkly different from the last, and is probably the first sci-fi game to really make it feel like you’re entering an entirely new world with each level.

Spencer: Guardians of the Galaxy has some of the wackiest looking cosmic environments around, combining all sorts of colors and styles to make a universe that feels diverse and full of life. The character models have a ton of character and expression to them, whether they’re humanoid, raccoon, or a Planet-X-Tree-Guy. And those alternate costumes? Brilliant.
