Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game Announced

Private Division and Weta Workshop announced Tales of the Shire: A Lord of the Rings Game, a cozy Hobbit life sim aiming for release later this year.

The new announcement trailer details life as a custom Hobbit in the town of Bywater where players can participate in various activities including fishing, gardening, and decorating their home.

The ultimate goal is to bring the community together and celebrate the Bywater Festival, cementing the village’s official status.

Tales of the Shire will launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in the second half of 2024.
