Ace Attorney Investigations Collection Announced for September 6

At the Nintendo Direct today, Capcom announced another new Ace Attorney collection for release later this year! The Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will bring Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth and Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor’s Gambit together in one collection for the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Notably, this is the first time Ace Attorney Investigations 2 will be available in the West.

This remastered collection features new HD visuals, with the option to switch between them and the original sprites, a soundtrack with 5 newly arranged tracks that also can be switched to the classic soundtrack instead, a Story Mode option, and a gallery of art and music, along with other quality-of-life improvements. More information is available on the official website.

Unlike the main series Ace Attorney games, the Investigations games star Miles Edgeworth and take place outside of the courtroom, with a greater emphasis on adventure game gameplay as you directly control character sprites to explore each area. The two games were originally released for the Nintendo DS.

Ace Attorney Investigations Collection will be available on September 6 for $39.99. Preorders include 5 additional arranged tracks for Ace Attorney Investigations 2 that can be played either in the gallery or in-game. Digital preorders are open now, and a physical release for the Nintendo Switch is also planned.
