Final Fantasy VII Rebirth PC Confirmed as Steam Deck Verified

Square Enix has confirmed that the upcoming PC port of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is officially verified for the Steam Deck.

A video posted to the company’s Twitter account showed the critically acclaimed game running on the Steam Deck, confirming it will be verified for the portable console.  The PC version is set to release on January 23, with more details on the PC version and Steam Deck compatibility available on Square Enix’s website. The following items are also granted to those who preorder:

  • “Moogle trio” summoning materia
  • Armor: Shinra Bangle Mk. II
  • Armor: Midgar Bangle Mk. II

What happens in Final Fantasy VII Rebirth?

“In this standalone adventure for fans and newcomers, Cloud and his comrades venture across the planet, their fates unwritten, making each step outside the dystopian city of Midgar fresh and mysterious,” reads the game’s official synopsis.
