Beneath Brings Lovecraftian Deep-Sea Horror to PC – Playtest Sign-Ups Now Open

Wired Productions has teamed up once again with Camel 101, the indie studio behind Those Who Remain, to publish their latest horror FPS, Beneath. Inspired by classics like F.E.A.R., Resident Evil, and Half-Life, Beneath is a Lovecraftian survival horror set deep in the ocean, where a diver faces nightmarish creatures, dwindling supplies, and creeping madness.

To celebrate the announcement, playtest sign-ups are now open, giving players an early look at the horror lurking in the abyss.

Survival Horror in the Deep Sea

In Beneath, players step into the role of Noah Quinn, a seasoned diver whose routine expedition spirals into a terrifying fight for survival. Stranded in the ocean’s depths, Noah must navigate oxygen limitations, limited supplies, and a sinister conspiracy threatening all of humanity.

  • Every Shot Counts – Resources are scarce, and survival means balancing combat and conservation.
  • Stealth vs. Combat – Hide in the shadows or face grotesque Lovecraftian horrors and ruthless soldiers head-on.
  • Deadly Enemies – Master enemy attack patterns and adapt to monstrous threats in the dark.
  • Explore the Abyss – Utilize your deep-sea dive suit to uncover hidden research stations and horrifying secrets lurking below.

Playtest Sign-Ups Now Open

Wired Productions and Camel 101 are inviting players to sign up for the closed beta and help shape Beneath before launch. This is a chance to experience the game early and provide feedback on its intense survival-horror mechanics.

While Beneath doesn’t have a release date yet, it’s set to launch soon on PC, with more updates to come via the official Discord and Wired Productions site.
