Kentum Demo Now Available – Survive a Post-Apocalyptic Earth in 10,000 AD

Waking up after 7,000 years of cryosleep sounds rough, but waking up to find you might be the last human alive? Even worse. That’s the setup for Kentum, the upcoming 2D side-scrolling survival and base-building game from Tlön Industries (Per Aspera). Before its 2025 release on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S, players can dive into an expansive demo on Steam and experience the first hours of life in the post-post-apocalypse.

A Harsh World of Machines and Mystery

In Kentum, players must gather resources, build machines, and create a self-sustaining base in a hostile future Earth. The world is constantly changing, with dynamic climates, extreme weather, and alien-like flora and fauna that have evolved over millennia. You’ll explore everything from mountains of trash to desolate ruins, uncovering lost secrets while fighting off newly evolved predators.

But survival isn’t just about staying alive—it’s about efficiency. With automation systems, players can craft conveyor belts, coal refineries, drones, and factory machines to optimize their outpost. Decorate your base, fine-tune resource production, and customize everything to fit your personal survival style.

What’s in the Demo?

The Kentum demo includes:

  • Base-Building & Automation – Construct factories, pipelines, and crafting stations to keep yourself alive.
  • A Glimpse of 10,000 AD – Explore the first region of the game, filled with secrets and environmental hazards.
  • Machines & Customization – Get hands-on with early crafting tools, base decorations, and resource-processing machines.
  • More to Come – The full game will feature advanced automation, fauna machines, drones, and deep optimization options.

A Challenge Built for Creative Survivalists

“Kentum is a complex, systems-heavy game, so we wanted the demo to really showcase its scope,” said Roque Rey, Game Director at Tlön Industries. “Of course, the full game will have a lot more content, including new regions, creatures, base expansions, and gear. This is a game where players can survive the apocalypse their own way, and we can’t wait to see what they build.”
