Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Introduces Dimension-Warping Tracks & Biggest Roster Yet

During PlayStation’s State of Play, SEGA fully unveiled Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds, the next big entry in the Sonic Racing franchise. Featuring an expansive character roster, customizable vehicles, and an all-new CrossWorlds mechanic, this high-speed racer will take players across land, air, and sea tracks with a dimension-warping twist.

Launching soon on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is set to deliver the fastest, most chaotic Sonic racing experience yet.

CrossWorlds Changes the Racing Game

The standout feature of Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds is the introduction of Travel Rings, a dynamic in-race mechanic that instantly warps racers into new environments mid-race. Instead of sticking to a single course, players will need to adapt on the fly as they’re transported to new terrains, hazards, and shortcuts.

Key Features:

  • CrossWorlds Racing – Shift between dimensions in real-time with the Travel Rings mechanic, keeping every race unpredictable.
  • Largest Character Roster Yet – Race as Sonic, Tails, Knuckles, and an expanded lineup of SEGA all-stars, bringing iconic faces from across the SEGA universe.
  • Multi-Terrain Racing – Compete on land, air, and sea, utilizing each character’s vehicle to adapt to different terrains.
  • Deep Customization – Modify vehicle parts, enhance powers, and tailor your ride to match your racing style.

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds – Coming Soon to All Major Platforms

Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch both physically and digitally on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch (all models), and PC.
