Ubisoft is officially marching on Rome with the first gameplay reveal of Anno 117: Pax Romana, the next entry in its long-running city-builder franchise. Set at the height of the Roman Empire, Pax Romana marks a bold new direction for the series, bringing players into the sandals of a freshly appointed governor sent to expand and oversee the Empire’s frontiers. The game launches in Winter 2025 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Amazon Luna, Steam, the Epic Games Store, and Ubisoft Connect, complete with cross-play and cross-progression support.
Developed by Ubisoft Mainz, the studio behind Anno 1800, Anno 117 promises to be the most ambitious installment yet, letting you build, trade, scheme, and even defy the emperor across multiple provinces, including the lush heartlands of Latium and the wild Celtic reaches of Albion.
Pax Romana, Your Way
