Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion Trailer Showcases Arsenal and Outer Customization Ahead of September Launch

With its September 5 launch closing in, Marvelous USA has dropped a new gameplay system trailer for Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, showcasing the game’s in-depth Arsenal customization features. The video offers a detailed look at how players—known as Outers—can personalize their mechs with unique weapons, armor, and build strategies to dominate the battlefield across Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.

Custom Gear, Your Way

The new trailer, titled “Customization,” demonstrates the extensive loadout system in Titanic Scion. Each Arsenal, the mecha suits Outers pilot, comes with five armor slots and six weapon slots, supporting a diverse array of melee, ranged, and explosive tools of destruction. Every gear piece is stat-specific, meaning players can fine-tune their builds for different combat styles—whether that’s aggressive close-range assault or surgical long-range strikes.

Gear can be obtained by defeating enemies, discovering hidden loot containers, buying from vendors, or crafting at your home base using collected data. With so many ways to expand your inventory, the loop of building, tweaking, and testing different loadouts becomes a core part of the game’s experience.

A Franchise Evolves

Titanic Scion is a next-gen evolution of the Daemon X Machina formula, helmed once again by Kenichiro Tsukuda and featuring mechanical designs from Shoji Kawamori (Macross, Armored Core). Players will explore a hostile alien world and fight as part of the Reclaimers, humanity’s last line against the overwhelming forces of the Axiom.

Key features include:

  • Fully customizable Arsenals with salvaged and crafted gear
  • Asynchronous and co-op multiplayer, ensuring players can fight together or leave behind aid
  • Expansive traversal options, including flying, walking, and horseback combat
  • Stunning open-world visuals and intense enemy encounters
