Ubisoft has released the second major story expansion for Star Wars Outlaws: A Pirate’s Fortune, bringing new treasure-hunting adventures, colorful characters, and galactic smuggling to the scoundrel saga of Kay Vess and her trusty companion Nix. The DLC is available now across Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 5 (including PS5 Pro), Amazon Luna, and PC via the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store, and Steam. The base game, plus A Pirate’s Fortune, will also arrive on Nintendo Switch 2 on September 4, 2025.
A new free demo has also gone live on most platforms, letting curious newcomers experience three hours of Star Wars Outlaws at no cost.
Treasure, Tombs, and Trailblazers
In A Pirate’s Fortune, Kay and Nix join forces with the ever-charismatic Hondo Ohnaka on a quest to infiltrate the Khepi Tomb—a dangerous site hiding the secrets and riches of a bygone age. But treasure rarely comes easy. Players will face off against new antagonist Stinger Tash and her Rokana Raiders while navigating the underground politics of the Miyuki Trade League, a new faction offering high-risk smuggling opportunities across the galaxy.
This expansion is accessible only after completing the base game’s main storyline and is included for Season Pass, Ultimate Edition, and Deluxe Edition owners. It’s also available as a standalone purchase for $14.99.
New Free Content and Skeleton Crew Crossover
Coinciding with the DLC launch, Ubisoft rolled out a Title Update that gifts all players with cosmetic items inspired by Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. These include:
- A new outfit for Nix
- A trophy for your speeder
- Trinkets for both the Speeder and the Trailblazer
Players will find the items waiting in their delivery crate on the Trailblazer ship after installing the update.
