Revealed during the MIX Summer Showcase, Oscar Brittain and publisher Akupara Games have announced that Nanomon Virtual Pet, a charming desktop companion experience, will launch on June 24, 2025, for PC.
Inspired by digital pet classics like Tamagotchi and Digimon, Nanomon Virtual Pet blends nostalgia with quirky new twists in a small window idle game that sits on your desktop—evolving and adventuring alongside you throughout your day.
What is Nanomon Virtual Pet?
You’ll begin your journey with a squishy, dumpling-like creature known as Nanomon. As its caretaker, you’ll feed it, train it, play with it, and help it evolve into one of 22+ unique final forms, including pixelated dragons, flying cats, sentient watermelons, and even gun-toting plants.
Think of it as your new desktop companion—a pet simulator that keeps you company while you work, study, or doomscroll.
Try It Early at Steam Next Fest
A playable demo for Nanomon Virtual Pet will be available during the Steam Next Fest, running from June 9 to June 16. This sneak peek offers a chance to meet your first Nanomon, explore early evolution paths, and try out minigames like Fishing, Stick-ball, and Dungeon-diving.
