Revealed during the Summer Game Fest Showcase, Out of Words is the latest artistic collaboration from Felix the Reaper developer Kong Orange, stop-motion specialists WiredFly, and acclaimed poet Morten Søndergaard. This unique co-op platformer is being brought to life in partnership with Epic Games Publishing and is set to launch in 2026 on PC via the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Accompanied by a gorgeous new trailer, Out of Words invites players into a surreal clay-crafted world where communication — and connection — are key. It’s available to wishlist now on all announced platforms.
Where Words Fail, Co-Op Prevails
Out of Words follows Kurt and Karla, two characters navigating a whimsical but perilous world filled with handcrafted clay cities, ancient catacombs, and mysterious language-based puzzles. The adventure unfolds as a tale of love, friendship, and the power of unspoken feelings — all told through co-op mechanics designed to require trust, timing, and communication.
You and a friend can experience Out of Words via online cross-platform or couch co-op, making it as much a relationship test as a puzzle-platformer.
