Gylee Games is bringing the heat to Steam Next Fest with a beefed-up version of their already explosive demo for Ra Ra BOOM, the high-energy sidescrolling brawler starring a squad of ninja cheerleaders. The updated demo now features an entirely new level—Crash Site—alongside a slew of upgraded character stats and powerful new abilities to unleash.
Not Your Average Beat ‘Em Up
Part beat ‘em up, part lane-based run-and-gun, Ra Ra BOOM sets itself apart with its chaotic blend of close-quarters brawling and precision ranged attacks. Set across horizontal lanes that flow seamlessly with the game’s lush, hand-drawn backdrops, the game asks players to constantly shift tactics as they juggle enemy swarms, screen-filling projectiles, and fast-paced boss fights.
The new Crash Site level doubles the demo’s length, offering fresh challenges and showcasing how the game’s combat depth continues to evolve. With new unlockable abilities and tweaked stats, each of the four heroines now feels even more distinct and capable in a fight.
Choose Your Fighter (and Your Weapon)
Each member of Ra Ra BOOM’s cheer squad brings something unique to the table. Whether you’re slicing through cybernetic enemies with high-speed melee combos or laying down cover fire with projectile attacks, every character offers a different spin on the action.
