Alien: Rogue Incursion – Part One: Evolved Edition is bringing the terror of the Xenomorph to a whole new audience. Announced during San Diego Comic-Con, Survios revealed an all-new trailer titled “Evolution,” showcasing smarter, deadlier enemies and upgraded visuals for the revamped edition of its best-selling VR horror experience. The Evolved Edition will launch on September 30, 2025, for PlayStation 5 and PC, with pre-orders now live for both Standard and Deluxe editions.
A Fresh Terror in Familiar Flesh
Set in the Alien universe, Rogue Incursion puts players in the boots of Colonial Marine Zula Hendricks. What begins as a search mission on the storm-wracked planet LV-354 quickly devolves into a full-blown nightmare after Zula and her Synthetic companion, Davis 01, stumble upon a remote Gemini research facility known as Castor’s Cradle. But something is already waiting inside—and it’s not just the dark.
The new trailer offers a terrifying look at Evolved Edition’s smarter Xenomorphs, who now stalk players with enhanced AI and terrifying precision. No two encounters feel the same, as these creatures adapt to your tactics, forcing players to constantly think and react on the fly.
What’s New in the Evolved Edition?
- Next-Gen Visuals: Fully remastered visuals with 60 FPS performance on PS5 and PC
- Upgraded AI: Xenomorphs now react dynamically to sound, movement, and strategy
- Dual Editions:
- Standard Edition – $29.99
- Digital Deluxe Edition – $39.99 (includes exclusive in-game gear and concept art pack)
- New Platform Launches: Available for the first time on non-VR platforms, including PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store
Originally a VR-exclusive title, Rogue Incursion’s Evolved Edition strips away the headset but keeps all the tension, atmosphere, and heart-pounding stealth-action players expect from the Alien franchise.
