Streumon Studio, the team behind cult classic E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy and Warhammer 40,000 spin-offs like Space Hulk: Deathwing and Necromunda: Hired Gun, has revealed its next project: Daimon Blades. Announced today, the RPG-infused first-person slasher will enter Steam Early Access on September 3, 2025, bringing with it a vision of relentless combat, nightmarish enemies, and co-op carnage.
The reveal comes with a bone-splintering announcement trailer, showing off the game’s void-touched realms and the feral monstrosities that lurk within.
Blade Against the Abyss
Set in the shared universe of E.Y.E: Divine Cybermancy, Daimon Blades casts players as members of the Secreta, a warrior monk order tasked with containing the rising daimonic tide. Alone or in co-op with up to four players, you’ll carve through the ever-shifting Daimon Realms, where chaos mutates the very enemies you face.
Weapons range from flame-spewing swords to bloodstained axes and bone-crushing hammers, all of which can be crafted, upgraded, and adapted as enemies evolve their tactics. Streumon emphasizes a balance of loot-driven progression and fast, brutal melee combat, underscored by a thunderous heavy metal soundtrack.
Forged in Independence
Daimon Blades also marks a milestone for Streumon: a return to independence. After years of working under external publishers, the studio recently reacquired full ownership. By self-publishing this new project, Streumon aims to push forward with total creative control, bringing its signature dark worlds and uncompromised vision back to center stage.
