Crusader Kings III Adds Coronations Event Pack with Grand Ceremonies

Paradox Interactive has released a brand-new event pack for their acclaimed grand strategy RPG Crusader Kings III. Titled Coronations, this expansion adds pomp, circumstance, and political weight to your rise to power. Players can now cement their rule in style through elaborate ceremonies, earning prestige and managing the envy of rivals.

A Grand New Activity

At the heart of Coronations is a new activity, grand coronation ceremonies that let you proclaim legitimacy before your vassals and peers. These events aren’t just for show; they can strengthen your prestige, intimidate rivals, or create opportunities for factional scheming. Managing detractors and appeasing powerful nobles becomes part of the delicate balancing act, turning what should be a celebration into a political minefield.

Oaths and Ambitions

Following the coronation, rulers can take an oath, declaring an objective for their reign. These choices unlock new decisions and unique rewards, offering both roleplay flavor and gameplay incentives to suit a variety of playstyles. Whether you’re aiming for military dominance, economic growth, or pious rule, your oath shapes the legacy of your dynasty.
