Guilty Gear -Strive- Update Brings Cyberpunk Style
The next update for Guilty Gear -Strive- arrives October 9, adding:
- Brazilian Portuguese language support
- Cyberpunk: Edgerunners collaboration content, including Lucy in Digital Figure mode
- Free Edgerunners-inspired colors for select characters
To celebrate Lucy’s addition, Arc System Works is launching a Digital Figures contest. Fans can submit entries on X (formerly Twitter) between October 8 and 25 with the hashtag #GGSTPhotoContest for a chance to win an exclusive 2026 calendar featuring their creations.
Dear Me, I Was… Expands Beyond Switch 2
Previously announced as a Nintendo Switch 2 exclusive, Arc System Works revealed that Dear Me, I Was… will also release on Nintendo Switch. More details will be shared via the studio’s official social channels.
At TGS, Arc System Works hosted a Developer Talk Show, where motion actor Haruka Shibai shared insights into the game’s production and unique rotoscoping animation technique. Attendees also got a look at new behind-the-scenes footage from the event.
Adding to the announcement, a digital soundtrack for Dear Me, I Was… is now available, featuring a piano arrangement of the theme song “Strange Journey” and other background tracks from the game.
Looking Ahead
With Gulity Gear -Strive- continuing to expand its roster and Dear Me, I Was… reaching more players, Arc System Works is keeping fans engaged with both action and artistry.
