Red Dunes Games is returning to Tokyo Game Show 2025 with one of the largest showcases at the event. Running from September 25–28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan, Red Dunes will feature twelve upcoming titles across a massive booth (07-N14), backed by sponsor Galleria’s high-performance PCs.
This marks a major leap for the company, which only occupied a handful of booths last year. Now, players and press alike will get a first-hand look at both Red Dunes’ flagship projects and standout indie games.
A Hands-On Lineup
At Booth 07-N14, attendees will be able to dive into cinematic trailers and playable demos across 32 stations, sampling what’s next from Red Dunes Games and its partner studios. Sultan Darmaki, CEO and Creative Director, emphasized the vision behind the expansion:
“Our lineup highlights the balance we believe in: pairing flagship titles with standout indie games that deserve the spotlight. At Red Dunes, our focus remains the same, supporting both established and emerging creators and delivering experiences that are fun, meaningful, and shared with our partners and fans.”
Spotlight on the Games
The twelve titles offer a diverse mix of genres and styles, blending hand-drawn artistry, imaginative worlds, and unique mechanics. Highlights include:
- Princess of the Water Lilies (2025) – A 2D puzzle-platformer with whimsical, hand-drawn visuals inspired by animated classics.
- LightSup (Q1 2025) – A co-op beat ’em up with rogue-lite elements, pitting players against hordes of monsters in the Lumineia Kingdom.
- Nightmare Circus (Q2 2026) – An action-adventure where players, as a Puppeteer, fight to escape the Nightmare Realm.
- Katuba’s Poacher (2026) – A one-man-developed boss-rush challenge with roguelite twists and hand-drawn fantasy flair.
- Blades of Mirage (Q4 2026) – An imaginative isometric RPG rooted in Southeast Asian-inspired mythology.
- Zozo and the Lost Dreams (2026) – A colorful, humorous metroidvania where a young boy navigates a dream world.
- Port of Jumanah (Q3 2026) – A 2.5D rogue-lite action adventure inspired by the UAE’s pearl diving traditions.
Looking Ahead
While all titles will be showcased on PC at TGS, console versions are already projected, giving fans even more platforms to look forward to. With release windows stretching from 2025 into 2026, Red Dunes’ lineup is positioned to make a lasting mark on the indie and AAA-adjacent scenes alike.
Fans attending TGS 2025 will have their first opportunity to experience these projects before they release worldwide.
