Goro Majima Joins Shinobi: Art of Vengeance in Sega Villains Stage DLC

Sega has revealed the final boss joining the Sega Villains Stage DLC for Shinobi: Art of Vengeance: none other than the Like a Dragon and Yakuza series’ unpredictable Goro Majima, the “Mad Dog of Shimano.” The fan-favorite antihero will clash blades with Shinobi protagonist Joe Musashi in a wild crossover battle when the DLC launches in early 2026.

The Sega Villains Stage brings together some of the most iconic foes in the publisher’s history, including Dr. Eggman (Sonic the Hedgehog), Death Adder (Golden Axe), and now Majima himself. Each villain introduces unique combat styles and themed arenas that test Musashi’s mastery of stealth, speed, and swordplay.

Players eager to experience this crossover of Sega legends can pre-order the Digital Deluxe Edition of Shinobi: Art of Vengeance to automatically unlock the Sega Villains Stage DLC at launch.

“A ninja versus a mad dog — it doesn’t get more intense than this,” said Sega in the announcement. “Majima brings his trademark chaos, dual-wielding style, and raw energy to challenge even the most skilled ninjas.”

The reveal marks the final addition to the DLC’s villain roster, uniting decades of Sega history in one explosive encounter. Between Eggman’s mechanized traps, Death Adder’s brutal magic, and Majima’s streetwise unpredictability, this stage promises to be the most ambitious crossover in Shinobi history.

Shinobi: Art of Vengeance is available now, with the Sega Villains Stage DLC arriving in early 2026.
