Dynasty Warriors: Origins – Visions of Four Heroes DLC Launches January 22, 2026

Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced the first major DLC for Dynasty Warriors: Origins, titled Visions of Four Heroes, launching January 22, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam.

This large-scale expansion introduces brand-new storylines focused on Zhang Jiao, Dong Zhuo, Yuan Shao, and Lu Bu, four figures whose fates take a new turn in alternate “What If” scenarios. These fresh narratives let players explore different paths for each warlord, offering new perspectives within the Three Kingdoms saga.

Alongside these legendary figures, new companions will join the fray, including:

  • Zhuhe, a steadfast Guardian of Peace
  • Diaochan, the returning fan-favorite warrior
  • A mysterious new officer revealed over the course of the story

New Weapons, Skills, and Training Grounds

The DLC adds two new weapon types:

  • Bow – suited for ranged crowd control and precision combat
  • Rope Dart – ideal for agile, mid-range attacks with fluid chaining techniques

Existing weapons are also being overhauled, gaining new arts, expanded skill panels, and a higher trait level cap. In addition, the update introduces a new Training Ground mode, allowing players to battle powerful enemies and refine their combos in controlled scenarios.

Pre-Order Bonuses and Release Details

Players who pre-order Visions of Four Heroes will receive the exclusive “Yellow Turban Attire” for the protagonist—a symbolic outfit inspired by the Yellow Turban Rebellion, representing defiance and unity.

Dynasty Warriors: Origins is already available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, with the Nintendo Switch 2 version set to launch alongside this DLC on January 22, 2026. The game includes full Japanese and English voice options, with text support in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.
