The next Closed Beta for Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls begins December 5, 2025, at midnight Pacific Time and runs through December 7 at 11:59 PM. This marks the second major hands-on test for the upcoming team-based fighter developed by PlayStation Studios, Arc System Works, and Marvel Games.
Following its debut at Evo, Tokyo Game Show, and the first Closed Beta, this test introduces Spider-Man and Ghost Rider as new playable fighters, expanding the roster to eight total characters. Players can freely create four-character teams that mix heroes and villains for dynamic tag-based battles.
Two new stages are also joining the lineup:

- Savage Land – a prehistoric jungle with reactive environmental hazards.
- X-Mansion – the iconic home of the X-Men, featuring interactive elements tied to the setting.
Updated Systems and Player Feedback
Based on community feedback from the first beta, this build includes:
- Character balance adjustments
- Improved performance and visuals
- Refined controls and interface updates
Developers promise a smoother and more responsive gameplay experience while maintaining the flashy, fast-paced combat that fans of Arc System Works expect.
How to Join the Beta
The Closed Beta 2 will be live for 72 hours across the weekend:
- December 5–6: CPU battles and online matches available
- December 7: Online battles only
Players from the first beta are automatically registered and will receive a confirmation email. Those who previously signed up but didn’t participate should watch for an invite soon. New players can register now for a chance to join the test.
