Talespinner’s New Gameplay Trailer Highlights Hidden Realms, Fierce Enemies, and Deep Deckbuilding Synergy

Kwalee and developer Flash Cat Games have released a fresh gameplay trailer for Talespinner, the upcoming roguelike deckbuilder rooted in the magic and mystery of Japanese mythology. The new video offers the most expansive glimpse yet at the game’s hidden realms, powerful enemies, and flexible character builds.

A Deckbuilder Shaped by Myth and Player Choice

Talespinner puts players in the role of a storyteller guiding a hero through a shifting narrative shaped by deck construction, branching paths, and the allies they choose to bring along. Every decision alters the story’s direction, offering a dynamic progression system designed for experimentation.

The trailer highlights how players can synergize character traits with unique companion abilities to form powerful builds. With over 50 companions to recruit, each adding their own gameplay twist, every run invites new combinations and strategies.
