During today’s Xbox Partner Preview, Eclipse Glow Games unveiled its most in-depth look yet at Tides of Annihilation, the studio’s upcoming action-adventure set in a haunting reimagining of Arthurian myth. The new four-minute gameplay trailer shifts the setting from the devastated ruins of London to the mystical realm of Avalon, offering fans their first extended look at the game’s reality-bending combat systems, multi-character mechanics, and massive boss encounters.
A First Look at the Dual Frontline Battle System
Captured entirely with in-game footage, the trailer highlights the game’s Dual Frontline Battle system, letting players control two Knights across shifting mirror realities. In a cinematic showdown against the shape-shifting witch Tyronoe, both Gwendolyn and her ally Sir Lamorak phase between dimensions to unleash devastating combo attacks. The gameplay emphasizes rapid switching, spectral abilities, and the ability to command multiple heroes during high-stakes encounters.
Avalon itself is presented as a surreal, fractured Otherworld, part dreamscape, part nightmare, where players will navigate mirror worlds and confront enemies who can alter their physical form mid-battle.
A New Vision of Arthurian Legend
Eclipse Glow Games describes Tides of Annihilation as a modern retelling of Arthurian myth, blending courage, loyalty, and heroic tragedy with a distorted supernatural world.

The studio also confirmed that Xbox Play Anywhere support is planned for the future, allowing players to purchase the game once and play across Xbox Series X|S and PC.
