Polish indie studio Soft Crunch Games has officially unveiled Foxy Dumplings, a cozy cooking and management game designed as a relaxing escape from high-stress gameplay. Announced from Warsaw on December 18, Foxy Dumplings is slated to launch in 2026 for PC, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Rather than punishing bosses or demanding grinds, Foxy Dumplings promises a gentle, soothing experience centered around food, creativity, and personal balance, a game meant to be enjoyed slowly, like a warm, homemade meal.
A Game Built for Slow Gaming
Foxy Dumplings is built from the ground up to embrace the philosophy of slow gaming. Every mechanic, recipe, and narrative beat is designed to create a calm, cozy rhythm that players can enjoy at their own pace. Cooking is treated not as a test of reflexes but as a comforting ritual, blending traditional food preparation, soft storytelling, and light management elements.

At the heart of Foxy Dumplings is Lisa, a professional chef recovering from burnout. Armed with her family’s treasured dumpling recipe, Lisa sets out on a heartfelt journey across the world, discovering new cultures and cuisines while operating a traveling food truck.
Her journey goes beyond cooking. Players will help local communities, grow plants, manage customer satisfaction, and balance the demands of running a small business with the need for rest and personal well-being. The story emphasizes connection, healing, and rediscovering joy through food.
Cooking, Customization, and Creativity
Foxy Dumplings features a wide variety of systems that encourage experimentation and expression. Players can explore 12 different cultures, unlock authentic dumpling recipes, and create their own variations using more than 60 ingredients and toppings.
A personal greenhouse allows players to grow over 40 different plants, while new kitchen equipment, upgrades, and decorative items let players customize both function and style. Creative chefs can also take part in daily challenges and story-driven missions that support local communities.
One standout feature is Foxtagram, an in-game social platform that lets players photograph their dishes and share them both in-game and with friends outside the game.

Soft Crunch Games emphasizes that Foxy Dumplings is built with no AI-generated content, focusing instead on handcrafted visuals, charming aesthetics, and a fully written narrative. The game will support full controller and touchscreen input, making it accessible across all platforms.
