Nexon America has announced a month-long, free, in-person hands-on event for Global MapleStory Classic World, giving fans an early opportunity to experience the highly anticipated nostalgic mode before it officially launches.
Running from January 15 through February 13, the event will take place in Los Angeles and is open to any player with an existing MapleStory account that is at least 60 days old. Registration is now live, and attendees can reserve scheduled play sessions throughout the event period.
A Return to MapleStory’s Classic Roots
Global MapleStory Classic World is a recreation of the franchise’s original 2D MMORPG experience, designed to capture the charm, progression, and social gameplay that defined it in its early years.
During the event, players will be able to:
- Play premade characters tailored for smooth progression
- Explore iconic locations across Victoria Island
- Customize their characters within the Classic World environment
- Take on the beloved Kerning City Party Quest
- Experience exclusive Classic World content still in development
Each session is designed to fully immerse players in the classic MapleStory experience that helped make the series a global phenomenon.
Hands-On Sessions and Community Interaction
The in-person nature of the event allows fans to meet fellow players, socialize, and provide feedback that can help shape the Classic World experience ahead of its wider release. Each attendee can reserve a two-hour gameplay session, with time slots selected during sign-up.
