Best Soundtrack is about emotional pull, and Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 nails it. Lorien Testard’s score does heavy lifting across the entire experience, shaping the game’s melancholy tone and giving key moments real weight. The music amplifies tension, sorrow, and quiet reflection without ever overwhelming the scene. When certain tracks hit, they hit hard, locking scenes into memory long after you’ve moved on.
Best Soundtrack – Clair Obscur: Expedition 33
Diego: Everybody tough till the Renoir music kicks in.
Spencer: An intense and emotional story can’t really live up to its full potential without an equally powerful soundtrack, but, thankfully, Clair Obscur avoids this pitfall thanks to Lorien Testard’s top-notch score. The game’s unique sense of melancholy owes a good deal to Testard, who simply knocked it out of the park.
Joe: Never has the French language sounded this badass and haunting.
