Love Eternal Release Date Set for Eerie Horror Platformer

The release date for Love Eternal, the latest chilling horror game from brlka and Ysbryd Games, has officially been set. The title is set to release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

Players will have to take on challenging puzzles as they platform through a labyrinthian castle using Maya’s ability to flip gravity while jumping. Momentum plays a large part in all of this, as you steer Maya to avoid spikes, lasers, and more deadly obstacles.

“We wanted to explore the subtler aspects of psychological horror with Love Eternal, and tried to imbue every scene and environment with a sense of unease that was unmistakable, but impossible to put your finger on,” said Toby Alden, designer at brlka. “Everyone who’s tried the game so far has felt it, and we’re really excited for players to experience how uniquely unnerving it is.”

What is Love Eternal‘s story about?

“A mundane family dinner becomes a waking nightmare for teenager Maya,” reads the story’s synopsis. “One minute, she’s dealing with her frustrating parents; the next, the dinner table’s empty, the house destroyed, and the remaining husk has been spirited away into a cavernous, eerie alternate dimension. Escape the echoing chambers of a decaying fortress, avoiding deadly traps and altering gravitational forces, and confront the powerful deity who kidnapped Maya.”
