Almost eight years after its initial release, NIS America has announced the Steam release date window for the 2D side-scrolling platformer The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince.
Though a specific date wasn’t set, a window of “early 2026” was confirmed by NISA, meaning PC players will be able to check out the game sooner rather than later. This comes after the title’s original launch for the PlayStation Vita in Japan on May 31, 2017, its worldwide release for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch on February 12, 2019, and finally, its mobile release in Japan on May 29, 2020.

What is The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince about?
“The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince follows the tale of two lonely hearts brought together through a mutual misunderstanding,” reads the game’s official description. “In it, you control the wolf, disguised as a princess who guides the blind prince through a perilous forest in search of the witch capable of restoring his sight. The forest is home to a number of hostile creatures intent on ending your journey prematurely, as well as hazardous traps that put the prince in danger.”
