The long-awaited to return to the lands of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor is finally upon us, as Wizards of the Coast have finally pulled the curtains on the highly anticipated upcoming set Lorwyn Eclipsed.
Wizards of the Coast kicked off spoiler season for Lorwyn Eclipsed, the first Magic the Gathering set of 2026, with a live-stream unveiling new cards and mechanics as the iconic planes of Lorwyn and Shadowmoor intertwine ahead of its January 23rd release. Highlights include returning favorites and fresh faces such as a double-sided Oko planeswalker, dual-natured mythics like Eirdu // Isilu, new and updated mechanics, and two powerful Commander precon decks.
The reveal was capped with a whimsical puppet music video from the Jim Henson Company and previews of special art treatment cards, along with dates for early access to the set via MTG: Arena and prerelease events at your local card shop.
