MapleStory x One-Punch Man collaboration is now live, bringing the anime into the long-running MMO with a slate of limited-time events and rewards running through April 14.
Nexon is positioning this as one of MapleStory’s larger crossovers, and it shows in the number of systems and events tied into it.
Play as Saitama and unlock collaboration rewards
The core hook is simple. You step into the role of Saitama and work through themed missions tied to the event.
The Hero’s Adventure Journal acts as the main progression system. You complete exploration, activity, and boss objectives to unlock account-wide rewards. These include furnishing items, mounts, and collaboration cosmetics.
It’s structured to keep you logging in daily, with steady unlocks rather than one-time rewards.
Multiple event modes expand the crossover
Outside the main event, Nexon has layered in several side modes.
Monster Park Mayhem focuses on repeatable combat tasks. You clear daily and weekly missions to earn furnishing boxes, coupons, and Hero Coins.
The Virtual Combat System shifts things a bit. You take control of Genos and fight the Deep Sea King under a 30-minute limit. Rewards include items like the Permanent Become Genos Mount Coupon.
Then there’s the Centichoro Punch King event, which is built around score-based damage runs. You fight Centichoro, rack up damage, and convert performance into Punch Coins.
Extra progression boosts and event shops
A smaller but useful addition is the Heroes Appear questline. As you defeat enemies, you fill a gauge that unlocks a temporary EXP boost. It’s a straightforward way to speed up leveling during the event window.
All event currencies feed into three dedicated shops:
- Hero Coin Shop
- Centichoro Punch King Coin Shop
- Meso Shop
Each one carries collaboration-specific items, mounts, and customization options tied to the crossover.

A dense crossover with a clear grind loop
This MapleStory x One-Punch Man collaboration doesn’t hold back on content, but it also leans heavily on repetition. Most rewards are tied to daily clears, damage checks, or currency farming.
If you’re already active in MapleStory, there’s a lot here to work through. If you’re jumping in for the crossover alone, expect a grind before you see the best rewards.
