Bobo Bay Launches April 29 on Steam With Creature Collecting and Island Competitions

Bobo Bay will launch on Steam on April 29, 2026, bringing its mix of creature collecting, pet raising, and island life to PC later this month.

Developed by NewFutureKids, Bobo Bay is set on Starling Isle, where players collect and train creatures called Bobos, customize their appearance and traits, and prepare them for races and other competitions. A demo is available now on Steam ahead of the full release.

Raise and train your own Bobo crew

In Bobo Bay, players collect a variety of Bobos, each with their own appearance, traits, stats, and personality. The game includes a breeding system, referred to here as “mashing,” that lets players combine Bobos to create new variations with different looks and competitive strengths.

Bobos also grow over time, evolving through different life stages and unlocking additional forms as players continue to raise them.

Competitions, customization, and island exploration

Alongside creature raising, Bobo Bay includes a range of competitions and structured progression systems. Players can enter races, complete Sagas and Trials, and challenge special rivals known as Bobo Stars, which reward rare saplings when defeated.

The island also includes a central town with shops, shelters, camp facilities, and other services where players can buy accessories, register Bobos, pick up snacks, and manage their collection.
