Capcom has released a new Onimusha: Way of the Sword trailer, this time focused on Yasui Konpiragu Shrine in the game’s dark fantasy version of Kyoto.
The new Severing Fates trailer highlights the shrine’s role in the game, along with a boss fight against Rasho-gan, a multi-armed Genma that preys on pilgrims.
Wishes Take a Grim Turn
Yasui Konpiragu Shrine is known as a place where visitors seek to cut bad ties and form good ones.
In Onimusha: Way of the Sword, that idea takes a nastier turn. Rasho-gan twists pilgrims’ desires and takes their body parts for himself, setting up one of the game’s stranger threats.
Musashi Faces Rasho-gan
Players will fight Rasho-gan as Miyamoto Musashi, wielding the Oni Gauntlet and a wide set of samurai combat skills.
The trailer offers another look at the game’s boss design, with Capcom leaning into Kyoto’s real locations while infusing them with a supernatural horror.
