The next entry in the Doom series was revealed today by id Software and Bethesda at the Xbox Games Showcase. Titled Doom: The Dark Ages, this upcoming prequel to Doom (2016) brings the first-person shooter action to a medieval war against Hell as it tells the Slayer’s origin story. Weapons include returning favorites like the Super Shotgun as well as new weapons like the Shield Saw, and a mech suit will let you fight against massive enemies.
Doom: The Dark Ages is in development for the Xbox Series X|S, PC, and PlayStation 5 and is due out in 2025.
