Bandai Namco Entertainment America is teaming up with Terrible Posture Games and Nerd Ninjas to unleash Battle Train, a bombastic new roguelite deckbuilder, on PC and Nintendo Switch on June 18.
Described by its creators as “the world’s most ridiculous dueling train game,” Battle Train blends fast-paced card strategy with explosive rail-based combat. Players lay tracks using cards on a grid, then send loaded locomotives hurtling toward enemy bases. It’s deckbuilding on rails—literally.
The game is framed as the world’s most chaotic game show, where contestants battle to become the Supreme President Conductor. You’ll gather new cards, customize your train, face Rival Champions, and try to survive escalating rounds of increasingly wild destruction.
Key Features:
- Deck n’ track roguelite action: build a deck, lay tracks, and blast your way to victory
- Grid-based train combat with a strategic twist
- A tongue-in-cheek game show setting full of absurd characters
- Tons of replayability with branching paths, boss battles, and new card unlocks
- Developed by roguelite veterans behind Tower of Guns and Rogue Piñatas: VRmageddon
A free playable demo is available now on Steam.
