Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party? Launches on Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch This September

Sting has announced that Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party? will launch for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch on September 30, 2026, in the West, with a Japanese release following on October 1.

Originally released on Steam, where it currently holds a “Very Positive” user rating, the board game RPG combines procedurally generated adventures, deck-building, dice rolls, and online multiplayer with a heavy focus on cooperation and betrayal.

A Board Game RPG Built Around Replayability

Set in the mysterious world of Viractalia, players awaken in a strange room before embarking on adventures shaped by dice rolls, cards, and randomized events. Every run features procedurally generated maps, shifting enemy placements, and new discoveries, creating a different experience each time.

Combat blends traditional card battles with board game mechanics, allowing players to collect cards and build customized decks to tackle increasingly difficult encounters. Each stage culminates in a powerful boss battle, though players can sometimes challenge bosses before they are fully prepared.

Cooperation, Betrayal, and the Devil’s Whisper

Viractal also supports online multiplayer and voice chat, letting players work together to overcome challenges. However, cooperation is not always guaranteed.

A unique feature called the Devil’s Whisper system encourages deception and secret deals among players, creating situations in which alliances can quickly fall apart. Players can choose to help their teammates or quietly pursue their own interests as they work toward victory.

Enhanced Audio Features on Consoles

The Nintendo Switch 2 and Switch versions will include advanced audio technology powered by CRI Middleware and Yamaha’s Sound xR Core system. The game uses spatial audio effects to create more immersive environments and battles, while the Devil’s Whisper mechanic can even alter how players sound during voice chat sessions.

Viractal: Will You Trust Your Party? launches September 30, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2 and Nintendo Switch, priced at $24.99 and $19.99, respectively, with a $4.99 upgrade pack available for Switch owners.
