Sonic Generations Demo Out Now

Yesterday, in honor of Sonic’s 25th anniversary, publisher SEGA released a demo for the upcoming Sonic Generations. But you better be fast like Sonic because it’ll disappear after the next twenty, now nineteen days.

Xbox Live Gold subscribers can grab the demo now on the Marketplace here. The demo is also available on the Playstation Network in Europe and will presumably be available in North America as of this writing.

Sonic Generations features the original and modern Sonic, allowing you to play in its traditional, 2D side-scroller perspective or in 3D. Its coming to Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and Nintendo 3DS “Winter 2011.” Oh and our Features writer, Gyuri wrote up a compelling Sonic the Hedgehog retrospective a while back that you should read.
