THQ Lets Crytek Develop the Homefront Sequel

In a bizarro world where Timesplitters 4 still hasn’t surfaced, THQ has announced a partnership with Crytek to develop the next title in the Homefront series.

Homefront released March 2011 and was a critical commercial success despite it receiving average review scores. The “yet-to-be-named sequel” won’t be releasing until fiscal year 2014 on console and PC platforms. Crytek is leveraging its UK development studio, formerly Free Radical Design, to develop the sequel.
