E3 2012: Fire Emblem 3DS Announced

Nintendo revealed a new Fire Emblem (Awakening) coming to the Nintendo 3DS in North America, previously released in Japan a few months ago. The gameplay remains intact, however, the character creator has been expanded and players can pair up heroes and marry other characters.

In the Japan version, Fire Emblem is one of the first Nintendo 3DS games to offer paid DLC, bringing in notable Fire Emblem characters such as Roy and Leaf. Nintendo of America has confirmed over Twitter: “We are excited to confirm a NEW game announcement coming to the US: the new 3DS Fire Emblem! More info to come.”
