Tribeca Festival has announced its full 2026 games program as part of the event’s 25th anniversary celebration. The lineup includes 12 official game selections, multiple world premieres, playable demos, and special events focused on storytelling, sound design, and worldbuilding.
The games gallery will be open to the public at Pier 57 from June 10-14 and will feature free playable demos for every official selection.
World Premieres Include There Are No Ghosts At The Grand
This year’s lineup features several world premieres, including There Are No Ghosts At The Grand, the supernatural musical mystery game from Friday Sundae, alongside LOFSÖNG, Rebounder, and Milktooth Project.
Other featured games include:

- Kidbash: Super Legend from Authentic Remixes and Fat Raccoon
- ROCKBEASTS from Lichthund
- Virtue and a Sledgehammer from Selkie Harbour and Deconstructeam
- Forever Ago published by Annapurna Interactive
- Demi and the Fractured Dream from Yarn Owl and Annapurna Interactive
- Rivage from Exnilo Studio and Raw Fury
- Drifted from UrbanFox
All selected titles are eligible for the Tribeca Games Award, which recognizes excellence in artistic storytelling for unreleased games.
Control Resonant and Dan Houser Lead Special Events
Tribeca’s special events lineup includes Control Resonant: Beyond the Oldest House, featuring Remedy creative director Mikael Kasurinen in conversation with filmmaker Nia DaCosta. The panel will discuss the upcoming sequel’s worldbuilding, mechanics, and inspirations.
Another featured session, Luminaries: Dan Houser’s Absurd Ventures, will see the Rockstar Games co-founder discuss storytelling beyond games alongside longtime collaborator Lazlow and partners from Dark Horse and Smilegate.
The festival will also host Escape The Internet: Part 2, an interactive live experience by Lucas Rizzotto that blends gaming, audience participation, and immersive storytelling.
Tribeca Continues Spotlighting Narrative Games
Tribeca noted that past game selections have included titles such as Blue Prince, Dispatch, Despelote, Venba, Sable, Norco, and Mixtape. Over the last five years, participating games have received 165 award nominations and 35 wins across major industry awards.
