MonsterVine Weekly News Round-Up for the Week of 10/19/12

The week is winding down and consoles everywhere are revving up for much needed game time. But before you go off on some awesome adventure in your favorites games, check out this week’s round-up.

Along with the daily dose of news, we have a preview, review and an odd feature for you to check out.

Okay, this feature is not exactly odd, but I find it strange that Austin Adamson is so in love with Mountain Dew’s Game Fuel, he wrote a story on it. His name henceforth shall be, “The Dew Junkie”. Austin “The Dew Junkie” Adamson. See, now it’s official. Oh, here’s a link to his feature:

What do you get when you mix Battlefield style combat with a post apocalyptic wasteland akin to Rage and Mad Max? A really brutal and depressing afternoon.

Wait, let’s try that one again. You actually get a pretty cool game called Ravaged, the new multiplayer first-person-shooter from 2 Dawn Games. Check out Austin Adamson’s hands-on preview to learn more about this Battlefield inspired shooter:

On the review side of things, Diego Escala checks out a makeover of the 1980 arcade title, Warlords. Does this old bird do well with contemporary makeup, or is this arcade gem better left in the past? Check out Diego’s review to find out:
