The Next Zelda: Clues from E3

While adding info from E3, I found another video from earthbounding, and what it has concerning New Zelda Wii is important:

Clues from E3

What we learn:

–At Nintendo’s Roundtable, Miyamoto and Aonuma discussed Phantom Hourglass, in which the puzzle elements of that game were praised, which implies that puzzles will be back in New Zelda Wii.
–Aonuma went on to say that he had many ideas for the Zeldaverse, but Miyamoto discouraged him from saying anything else.
–However, the possibility of New Zelda Wii being a sequel to Twilight Princess was not ruled out.
–When one on one sword fighting was brought up, both gave an answer that implied “maybe” or “yes”, depending on your interpratation
–Aonuma reiterated that his focus with Zelda has been new ideas, and floated the idea of Link in a “modern” environment.
–Miyamoto assured the audience that the Wii Zelda team was working hard on it, hence why it was not at E3
–How New Zelda Wii could keep the series fresh was also discussed
–Miyamoto’s big concern was keeping every player happy, and that Wii MotionPlus could be used with New Zelda Wii
–Responding to MS’s “Natal Project”, Miyamoto said that he preferred to “make the software first and then show off the technology”
–He wanted to show New Zelda Wii, but was discouraged.
–The panel turned to Spirit Tracks, where it was confirmed that it would have multiplayer.
–New Zelda Wii could be at next year’s E3, with a lower chance of an announcement at the end of this year and a release next summer
–Miyamoto did bring a picture of New Zelda Wii artwork–it depicts Link and a female being in a cave
–Those present noted that Link looks more grown up in the picture–meaning New Zelda Wii could fall in the Adult Link timeline.
–New Zelda Wii will not be cel shaded, and will likely retain Twilight Princess’ dark feel
–As for who the female being is, some say it is Zelda, but her identity is not known at this time.
–Some have speculated New Zelda Wii would be a TP sequel judging from the picture’s background.
–We could see New Zelda Wii at TGS this year

Stay tuned for more info as I find it.

Happy gaming,
SparklingBlue

I made a big mistake regarding the Roundtable meeting. I ended up mixing last year's roundtable with this year's, so consider any information related to that in the video (which is a lot) from both years. But important is that it's all true, so don't worry!

    My bad dude…

It's okay–at least I won't have to earse any of the info and correct it
