A enhanced version of the Xbox 360 controller with a precise directional pad will be coming to Europe on October 24th.
Optimized for the Pro Evolution Soccer series, the controller is said to be “a limited edition promotional item that is only available in Europe, Asia and Latin America while supplies last” sort of deal.
Gamers have complained that the directional pad suffers from precision issues that have led to unintended character movements and frustration in titles such as Bionic Commando: Rearmed.
“We’re always looking to improve products and we made these changes based on feedback from gamers.”

There are no plans to bring the new redesigned 360 controller to North America.
