Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection Reveals DLC and Launch Trailer

Capcom used its latest showcase to highlight new content for Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflectio, including a new launch trailer, upcoming animated content, and several bonuses for players ahead of the game’s release.

The upcoming RPG arrives on March 13, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.

A New Story in the Monster Hunter Universe

The third entry in the Stories series once again expands the universe of Monster Hunter with its turn-based RPG approach. This new installment follows a young Ranger investigating the mysterious Crystal Encroachment, an environmental crisis that threatens to plunge two nations into conflict.

Capcom also announced that a new animated trailer will arrive soon, offering deeper insight into the protagonist’s childhood and their journey toward becoming a Ranger before the game’s main story begins.

Trial Version and Free DLC

Players eager to jump in early can download a trial version now that includes the opening chapter of the adventure. Progress from the demo can be transferred directly into the full game at launch.

Capcom also revealed several bonuses tied to save data from other Monster Hunter titles, unlocking layered armor sets such as the Hakum Rider Outfit, Mahana Rider Outfit, Kamura Garb, and Hope Layered Armor.

Free day-one DLC will include the Gold Circlet accessory and Simon’s Wind Wyvern’s Friend layered armor, while pre-orders will grant the Eleanor: Skyscale Queen layered armor.

Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection launches March 13.
