Valve co-founder Gabe Newell has confirmed that a demo of Valve’s Left 4 Dead will be coming to PC and Xbox 360 in the near future.
“We will be releasing demos for both the Xbox and for the PC.”
“I don’t know what the date is for release on that, though. I think it’s going to contain the first part of one of the [game’s four] campaigns. That’s a decision that Valve [VP of marketing] Doug Lombardi is making.”

Newell believes the demo will cover a part of the Hospital campaign scenario. The demo will also include the ability to utilize single player and co-op functions.
Left 4 Dead will be coming to PC and Xbox 360 in North America on November 18th, with a European release on November 21st.
