Left 4 Dead Players Get Survival Pack DLC

left-4-dead-group

Valve previously claimed that Left 4 Dead would be obtaining downloadable content in the near future. And that near future is now tentative for a Spring release with the announcement of a “Survival Pack” for the Xbox 360 and PC.

The Survival Pack will include two new campaign scenarios and a new game mode that’s called, you guessed it, Survival.

Also in the works is the release of a Source Software Development Kit for PC which will allow for users to create custom Left 4 Dead campaigns that will be available on Valve’s matchmaking system. This update is geared for arrival in Spring and will be available free of charge to all owners of the game on the PC.
