Battlefield 6 Season 1 Launches October 28 with New Maps and Modes

Battlefield Studios has unveiled the explosive roadmap for Battlefield 6 Season 1, giving players a full look at what’s coming to the modern warfare shooter starting October 28. The new season brings three distinct phases: Rogue Ops, California Resistance, and Winter Offensive, each packed with new maps, modes, and content updates across all platforms.

The action kicks off with Rogue Ops, introducing the Blackwell Fields map, a sprawling warzone designed for full-scale combat, and Strikepoint, an all-new 4v4 mode focused on tight, tactical skirmishes.

California Resistance and Winter Offensive Expand the War

Next up, California Resistance deploys on November 18, transporting players to Eastwood, a new suburban map set in Southern California. The update also adds Sabotage, a mode that challenges players to destroy as many enemy sites as possible before time runs out.

Finally, the season wraps up with Winter Offensive on December 9, bringing a flurry of seasonal content, limited-time cosmetics, and environmental changes, including an icy reimagining of Empire State.

Each seasonal phase expands the battlefield with new maps, weapons, and gameplay updates. Battlefield Studios confirmed that all gameplay-impacting content will be free or earnable, reinforcing their commitment to fair access and competitive balance for all players.
