The demolition derby/racing game, Mayhem, is set to release in March, according to developer Zoo Entertainment Inc. and publisher Rombax Games. The game will release for the 360 and the PS3, which will feature a 3D gameplay option. “There’s nothing like the thrill of a good racing game and with Mayhem, we plan to make the experience as real as possible through optional 3D gameplay and never-before seen racing and demolition action,” said said Mark Seremet, CEO of Zoo.
Mayhem features a noir comic book aesthetic, and includes 20 levels in five arenas and 4 game modes. The game modes include: Demolition Derby, a contest to be the last one standing; Banger Racing, a brawl to land in the pole position; Domination, a fight to knock opponents into a pit; and Eliminator, a pole position race where players must cross the finish line at the front of the pack or be eliminated. Games can hold up to eight players at a time, and can choose up to 120 different vehicles.
