Capcom has revealed Dragon’s Dogma, an open-world action RPG pitting players against dragons…and you’re the chosen one. Damn.
In what sounds like a Monster Hunter inspired effort for the Western hemisphere, Dragon’s Dogma lets you team up with three AI partners and kill mythical beasts in an effort to find out why exactly you’re the chosen one. Did I mention, the NPCs in the game will be fully voiced?
The game is headed under the direction of Devil May Cry alumnus Hideaki Itsuna and Resident Evil 4 producer Hiroyuki Kobayashi and boasts the largest development team of any project assembled at Capcom thus far. Dragon’s Dogma is set for release early 2012 for PS3 and Xbox 360.
