Resident Evil Requiem Reveals Switch 2 Gameplay and Leon S. Kennedy amiibo

Capcom revealed new gameplay footage of Resident Evil Requiem during today’s Nintendo Direct, showcasing the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the upcoming survival horror title. The presentation also confirmed the first-ever Resident Evil amiibo, featuring series icon Leon S. Kennedy.

Resident Evil Requiem is the ninth mainline entry in Capcom’s long-running horror franchise and stars Leon S. Kennedy alongside FBI analyst Grace Ashcroft. Players can freely switch between first- and third-person perspectives at any time, blending intense action with classic survival horror pacing as the experience shifts between calm exploration and sudden terror.

The Nintendo Switch 2 footage highlighted the game’s visual fidelity and performance on the platform, with Capcom positioning it alongside other next-generation versions.

Leon S. Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft amiibo Announced

Capcom also announced that Leon S. Kennedy and Grace Ashcroft amiibo will launch this summer, marking the franchise’s first foray into amiibo support. Pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem are available now, with both Standard and Deluxe editions offered. The Deluxe edition includes bonus costumes, weapon skins, screen filters, charms, and additional content.
